LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.

1 age is difficult to read, most likely 24.
2-4 Passengers 2 & 3 are written on the same line as Mr & Mrs. Passenger 4 is
listed below as "son Mr C." with ditto marks to indicate Defoe.
5 is going to join Brother Dayton, O.
10 has been to New York 1883.
13 has been to Utah 1895. Going to Join column says, "yes place of business."
16-19 names are written surname first but transcribed first name first in the
interest of uniformity.
16 Last Residence is Wellington NZ. He has been to N York 1885.
17 Last Residence is Gisborne NZ. She is going to join Brother-in-law
WA Andrews 718 Williams W Oakland, by whom her passage was paid.
18 Last Residence is Auckland NZ. She is going to join brother-in-law
Mr Deshon 9 North 3rd St Portland Oregon, by whom her passage was paid.
19 Last Residence is Auckland NZ. His surname might be Sore, Aore or Iore.
He has been to SF 1895.
20 Last Residence is Dunedin NZ. He has no ticket to final destination. He
has been to Chicago 1893.
21 Last Residence is Wellington NZ.
23 has been to Coloradeo 1891.
