Transcriber's Notes:
* An * indicates an error on the part of the original recorder not the
transcriber. Many names are spelled phoenetically instead of their
more common spelling; Wever for Weaver, Minor for Miner, Murchent for
Merchant, Makhanic for Mechanic, Ohin for Owen, Pheab for Phoebe,
Brigit for Bridget, etc.. In the notes I have included common surnames
that sound similar to what has been written.
? The ? marks indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the
quality of the original document.
* The sex of the passengers was only given for passengers 1 through 93.
The rest of that column was blank.
* There was one death on this section of the manifest Eliza Brady passenger
#74. The column has been eliminated.
* The accommadations were listed for passengers 1 - 20 as U.D. or L.D
which were probably Upper and Lower Deck, all others were listed as "in
the upper between deck".
* The first letter of the Captain's given name could be H or N. The surname
was given as Parmler, Pamler and Parmeler .
* Hyphens have been added to Irish surnames. There were no hyphens in the
original manifest.
