I John Rycroft do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Brig Mary Livingston whereof I am Master, from Bahia So help me God. *The Port of Bahia gives no indication of the country to which it belongs.  
  "Bahia" is the Spanish word for "Bay" and there are many ports throughout 
  Central and South America which use this word. 

*Collector of Customs (in the sworn statement): Name is indecipherable. It
  may begin with MO and end with the abbreviation DC which would stand for
  Deputy Collector
