LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.

1 has been to SF 1882.
2 Arthur William Hulme is indicated by ditto marks after the Mrs.
1&2 Occupation is Professional Singers, indicated by a bracket.
7 is joining "Brother in New York" who paid for his passage.
8&9 are joining "Brother in Chicago."
11 Last Residence is Wellington, N.Z.
14 Last Residence is Heywood, Victoria; written above this is "Greenwall ???."
These last three letters could be "nuc", "unc", new, or "wic. "He has
been to Valley Falls, Kansas 1882. He is going to join uncle, J.M.
Lightbody Salina Kansas.
15 Last Residence is Carlton, Victoria.
14&16 have been crossed out, presumably because they are not aliens.
16 Last Residence is Northcote, Victoria. He has been to New York 1894.
19 has been to San Francisco 1893. She is going to join husband Oakland,
Cal. Last Residance looks most like N L, but in view of the entry for
passenger 23, apparently her daughter, it probably is N Z.
22 has no ticket to final destination.
23 passage was paid by mother.
