I, E. M. Chevalier, Master of the Maas do solemnly, sincerely, andtruly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection Districtof New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken onboard of the said S. S. at Rotterdam from which Port said S.S. has now arrived; and that on the said List is trulydesignated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of the said Passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, thecountry to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intendedby each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly setsforth the number of said Passengers who have died on said voyage, and thenames and ages of those who have died. Passenger Notes: 1 Cole and 2 Hartmann - The age was not readable. It might have been an abbreviation for adult. 9 Laurint Geisfler - America was crossed out and Germany was added. 13 M. George - The first numeral of the age was not readable.
