DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF CHARLESTOWN
I, Robert Robertson Master of the SS Ethelred do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Port of Boston, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Port Antonio, from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieced of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the "Passenger Act of 1882"; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country. So Help me God. Signed R Robertson Master.

List or Manifest OF ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the SS Ethelred whereof Robert Robertson is Master, from Port Antonio burthen 532 tons.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, Calling, The country of which they are citizens, Native Country, Intended Destination or Location, No of pieces of baggage, Location of compartment or space occupied (Specify whether forward, amidships, or aft.), Date and cause of Death, Whether visiting or intending to be permanent settlers.

Transcriber's notes:

*  In the Left corner of the manifest it says Custom Form Passenger
   List "Passenger Act, 1882.  In the Right corner it says Sold by
   Aaron R. Gay & Co. Stationers.  122 State St. Boston.

*  There was no baggage listed.

*  It is written under the list 1 Male steerage -  Immigrant Jamaica
   and then under that is signed Port of Boston July 3rd 1890 Geo. V.
