I, Alex McRitchie, Master of the Steam-Ship Elysia do solemnly, sincerely, and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board of the said S.S. Elysia at London from which Port said Elysia has now arrived; and that on the said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of the said Passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who have died. 13 L. King - The surname looks to me like King, although a smudge obscures
the top of the first letter.
15 J. Lyster - the sex was unreadable.
19 A. Verner - The first numeral of the age is scribbled. It might be 2 or 3.
20 L. Ba??mann - Small letters. Might be Banumann.
29 C. Gentner - The occupation might be Export, or even Enginr.
38 Dr. Tach??jntis - Small letters. Second one might be m or n.
