DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF BOSTON
I, C A Watson, Master of the S/S Edenmore, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the port of Boston, is a full and perfect list of all passengers taken on board the said vessel at *Hamburgh from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the "Passenger Act of 1882"; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country. So help me God.
Sworn to this 26 May, 1890. (signed) C A Watson, Master, before me ?? Swift, Collector.
List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the S/S Edenmore, whereof C A Watson is Master, from *Hamburgh, burthen 1563 tons.
Columns represent: name, age, sex, occupation, country to which they belong, country which they intend to inhabit, baggage, and accommodation.

Written on bottom of this passenger list is the notation:  
 1 male - steerage - Prussia - immigrant; 
 Aliens previously in the U.S. 1 = 50 cents

There is one passenger on this ship and he is listed as a "stowaway".  He 
lists no intended destination and has no baggage.  Therefore, these columns 
have been omitted.

* Hamburg is spelled Hamburgh on the manifest.
