Captain* Passengers

173 J. C. Moller Hamburg
174 Herrm. Gottsleben Moritzberg
175 Regine Koch Hildburghausen
Bremen the 14th of April 1846* ? ? Wichelhausen & ?
(Signed) A. H. Arensfeld
Transcriber's Notes:
Captain's name was spelled Ahrenfeld in one place, but seems to be signed
Arenfeld.
"Captain Passengers" was written for what seems to be cabin passengers.
There were no ages recorded for a number of the passengers, including the
last five. There were also no occupations recorded for many of them.
The date at the end of list is probably close to date of departure from
Bremen.
Uncertain if the words "Wichelhausen & ?" were the ship brokers but a
possibility. Many holes there on the original.
Surnames spelled with umlaut: Ursmuller; Gluck; Kohlerin possibly; Muller;
Gotz; Schussel; Horelmeyer; Ruchter; Lunnemann; Schroder; Romer; Kohler;
Borgens; Buhner; Woste; Haringaren; Bruggemeyer; Harle; Moller.
Towns spelled with umlaut: Ibbenburen; Horstel; Osnabruck; Gunte.
#7 first name abbreviation could be Sus.; it is the old-style s which
looks similar to f.
#8 town spelled as is but could be same as #14.
#14 surname could be Kriegenhofer or Kriegerhofer; town spelled as is
but could be same as #8.
#17 there is a large hole in this area; absolutely nothing shows for
surname. For town, it could be the same as for #19, Ulenheim.
#18 town coud be Uellhausen or Wellhausen, or possibly Vellhausen.
#20 on original, occupation was spelled out in full.
#22 town could be Budesbrunn or Rudesbrunn.
#39 second name abbreviation looks like Pal. perhaps.
#46 surname looks like Achhamer or Achhumer, with horizontal line over
the m, so name was probably Achhammer or Achhummer.
#57 another big hole, first name probably Bernh. but could be Barb.
Can only say for surname that top of first letter looks like H, and
there is possibly a d towards the end. Only a guess as to number
of letters.
#58 surname could be Weweler or Wuveler; town spelled Reecke or Reccke,
though various spellings elsewhere.
#59 see #58 for town spelling.
#73 see #58 for town spelling.
#77 surname could be Klingenberg or Klingerberg.
#78 another hole in original; does not seem to be ditto mark for surname;
possibly an i for second letter; possibly t after that; seems to be
short name; nothing else there.
#96 large hole here; surname that is visible looks like Wehm??? or
Welm???; possibly Wehmann or Welmann.
#97 large hole; cannot tell if surname is dittoed from #96, though seems
to be more here than just a first name. Is probably a new surname.
#98-100 surname dittoed here, probably same as #97, but if #97 is same
as #96 then is that surname.
#101 surname could be Stauforch or Stauforth.
#104 surname coud be Harrengreth, but not certain of the letter t.
#106 town could be Grafen or Grasen.
#107 town spelled as found.
#119 hole in area for age; possibly 2 is first digit.
#121 surname spelled with horizontal line over n, to indicate double n,
Feldmann.
#122 surname spelled with horizontal line over m, to indicate double m,
same as #125, Sommermeyer.
#127 see #58 for town spelling.
#133 surname spelled with horizontal line over n, to indicate double n,
Rohmann.
#135 surname probably Rahe, possibly Rohe.
#138 a big hole here, surname possibly begins with L or S, about 7 letters
long, but nothing more is visible. Can only read the top of the letters
for first name. Age could be 29 or 32 or 39 perhaps, is overwritten.
#139 cannot read any of the name of this passenger, due to the very big hole
here; impossible to say if there is a new surname here or if it is the
same as #138.
#140-143 again because of same hole, impossible to tell if these passengers
are same surname as #139, or if they are all the same as #138. For
#140, the first name looks like Wilh'anne.
#149-152 surname area has hole; end of name may have m after the g, then y
as third-last letter; could possibly be Springmeyer, but a guess.
#156 town spelled as found, but possibly Tecklenburg.
#160 a small hole in area of surname, but does not seem to be enough room
for a surname there; is possibly the same as previous name, Harle.
Her age possibly 36.
#161-164 could be Harle if the same as #160, ditto marks here.
