Transcriber's Notes:
The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letter that could not be read, due to the
quality of the original document.
* The following columns have been eliminated and the reasons are noted.
Intended destination or Location---All going to the USA
Date and Cause of Death---No Deaths Occurred
Location of Compartment or Space occupied---This information is shown by the
letters F & A. (F) is probably for FORWARD; (A) could mean either Amidships
or Aft. It's barely legible so it's been eliminated.
Number of pieces of baggage---Every passenger is shown with at least one
piece of baggage; some have two but the information is very faint so this
column has been eliminated.
Transient, In Transit, or Intending protracted sojourn---All are Aliens
except the few noted in the Transcriber's Notes.
* These five passengers are listed as RESIDENTS, not ALIENS, which I think
means that they are returning to their home in the United States:
#320--#342--#364--#365--#366

"n" "r" or "i"
