I Josiah D* Wilson do solemnly, sincerely and truly [blank] that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Bolivar Josiah Wilson whereof I am Master, from Havre So help me God. Transcriber's notes:
* The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by
the original recorder; or a clarification by the transcriber.
* The column "Died on the Voyage" and the sub-column "Months"
have no entries; therefore these columns are omitted.
* Captain: In the "Statement to be sworn" and the Manifest
heading (both possibly filled in by someone else), the
middle initial of the captain is a "D"; but both
signatures appear to have "L" as the middle initial.
* Collector of Customs (in the sworn statement): Name is
indecipherable. It may end with the abbreviation "DC" which
probably stands for "Deputy Collector"
