LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were 
not included in the table:
 Last Residence=Honolulu (except 7)
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=no (except 5-6,8,18)
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no

Letters that are illegible or difficult to interpret are replaced by ?.

Passenger Notes:
1  There is a word before Builder in the occupation column most likely Car., 
   but it could be Bar. or Oar.
2  has been to SF 1889-1894.
3  has been to San Fran 1894, New York 1893.  He is going to join "3rd Avenue 
   ?6 (maybe 76) Street."
5  has been to San Fran 1890-1895.  He has a ticket to destination.
6  has been to San Fran 1890-1895.  She is joining Mother Sisters Brother 
   Bush St SF 507 1/2 NE Berkeley.  She has a ticket to destination.
7  marital status is Widower.  Last Residence is Hilo, Hawaii
8  has been to SF.  She is going to join sister Mrs M H Smith, S.F.  She has
   a ticket to destination.
9-13 have been to SF.
9-17 There is a bracket in the Nationality column joining these passengers, 
   perhaps because they are all Portuguese, perhaps because they are traveling 
   together.  There are also ditto marks that indicate they are all Portuguese.
12 first name has been crossed out and is difficult to read but looks like 
   Steiner.
17 Sex is recorded as "baby."
18 has been to US twice Dec Jan 1892/9 (Sept 1892?) Mch 1895.  He is joining 
   "Business."  He has a ticket to destination.
19 There is a second page to this manifest that lists only this passenger.  
   This page is in a different format and is shown below.

If it is found upon the arrival of the immigrant in the United States that the following questions have not been correctly answered, the immigrant will be immediately returned. The immigrant will be required to swear to the truth of the following answers, if it be called for by the Commissioner of Immigration at the port of arrival in the United States. (A false oath will subject the immigrant to fine or imprisonment.)

This list is unusual in that it is designed for each passenger to have a 
separate page.  At the top of each page appear blanks labeled:

Beneath this the information for the passenger is filled out in the columns described above. At the bottom of each page is an oath and a blank for the passenger's signature. There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest. Passenger Notes: 1 surname is Custadio or Custodio. The signature at the bottom of the page is followed by a "+" with the note "his mark."
