LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Australia, sailing from Honolulu, Aug 18, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, Aug 25, 1894.

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were 
not included in the table:

 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco
 By whom was passage paid?=self 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 

1   last Residence is Waiohino Kau.  Final Destination is Fayal Is, Azores. 
     He has been in the Us when crossing from the Azores.  He is going to 
     join "my Mother in Fayal Is Azores."
2   Final Destination is San Leandro, Cal.  She has been to San Leandro.
     She is going to join family in San Leandro.
3   has been to SF.
4   has been in San Rafael for the last 3 1/2 years.
5   is going to join relatives in Madeira.
6   has been in Cal.  He is going to join wife & child in Madeira Is.
7&8 have been to New York, San Francisco, New Orleans 1891.
9   has been to SF.
