Transcriber's Notes:
*An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder not the
transcriber or is used to call your attention to additional information in
the Transcriber's Notes below.
*The ? marks indicate letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality
of the original document.
*Occupation column - the occupation Mercht has it's last letter superscripted
and is usually an abbreviation for Merchant.
*No deaths recorded on this voyage therefore this column was omitted.
*Passenger # 4, Surname could be Sonyker.
*Passenger # 9, Abbreviated given name Thos is usually short for Thomas.
*Passenger # 10, ? for middle initial looks like either a C or an I.
*Passenger # 15, Occupation listed as Student. Passenger is listed as 3 years
old and young children are usually listed with no occupation.
*Passenger # 17, Occupation is recorded as Servt with last letter superscripted.
This is usually an abbreviation for Servant.
*Passenger # 21, Abbreviated given name Chas is usually short for Charles.
*Passenger # 24, Abbreviated given name Thos is usually short for Thomas.
*Passenger # 34, Occupation of 9 year old female is recorded as Merchant. This
is probably an error from the original recorder. All other females on board
are listed with no occupation, except Passenger #17 as Servant.
*Passenger # 38, Original manifest records sex as Female, with occupation as
Merchant. All other females on list are recorded as Mrs. or Miss, therefore
this passenger is most likely a Male.
*Passenger # 39, Original manifest records sex as Female, but Passenger #40 is
Mrs. Hartley, so sex is most likely an error and should probably be male.
