LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Arawa, sailing from Sydney Nov 26th, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, Dec 22, 1894.

Transcriber's Notes:
There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not
included in the table:
 Able to Read & Write=yes 
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco  
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes (except 23)
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 

Passenger Notes:
 1  occupation is advertismg agent.  He is going to join "wife San Frisco."
 2  This passenger appears as passenger 5 on the list for the SS Alameda sailing
    from Sydney Dec 24th, 1894, arriving at San Francisco Jan 21, 1895. There is 
    a remark to this effect on the Alameda list.
 3  is going to join Mrs Fault San Jose.
 4  has been to the US 1894.  She is going to join "husband."
 4  Mrs seems to have been added to line 4 and Miss is underlined on line 10 
    probably to distinguish these two passengers.
 5  Going to join column says "with Husband."
 6,7 Going to join column says "with Father."
 5-7 surname is Scarles or Searles.
 9  has been to US "188."  Only three  numbers are written here.
10  Mrs seems to have been added to line 4 and Miss is underlined on line 10 
    probably to distinguish these two passengers.
16  has been to the US 1884.  She is going to join parents.
17-19  "Mrs. Harrison 1332 Pacific St S.F. "  Is written in the Going to Join
    column.  Presumably, this refers to the "Parents" written on line 16.
20  surname is Dorser or Dorsir.
21-22 surname is spelled differently for these two passengers.
23  surname is Castleduce or Castledine.  She is going to join "son Arthur
    Castledi?e St Helena."  She has no ticket to final destination.
24  is going to join brother G.A. Rich Denver.
