SS Alsatia
I, John MacKay, Master of the Steam-Ship Alsatia, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New-York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said S.S. Alsatia at London for which port said ?? has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. So help me God, John MacKay.

List or Manifest of all the passengers taken on board the Steam-Ship Alsatia, whereof John MacKay is Master, from London burthen 3000 tons.
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, Country to which they severally belong, Country of which they intend to become inhabitants.

* The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the
original recorder.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not
be read, due to quality of original document.
* The columns of births and deaths were not transcribed as
they were empty.
* All passengers from Germany had "Prussia" written in a
different hand after the word Germany in the Country of
Origin Column.
* In line 5 of the Sworn Statement, the ?? represents an
unreadable abbreviation entered into a blank in the form.
It would appear to represent "the vessel".
Passenger # 13 - the first name is given as Robn, and could be
Robin, Robinson, or Robertson.
Passenger # 20 - the first name is given as Geo, which
represents George.
Passenger # 25 - the first name is given as Wm, which
represents William.
Passenger # 28 - the first name is given as Patk, which
represents Patrick.
Passenger # 48 - the first name is given as Cath, which
represents Catherine.
Passenger # 58 - the first name is given as Cath, which
represents Catherine.
Passenger #100 - the first name is given as Chas, which
represents Charles.
Passenger #104 - the first name is given as Fredk, which
