Transcriber's Notes:
* The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original
recorder.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to
quality of original document.
^ The use of ^ indicates the subsequent letter was raised.
* The column labeled "Part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage"
was all Steerage and therefore omitted from the transcription.
* The column labeled "the country of which it is intended by each to become an
inhabitant" was all U.S.A. and therefore omitted from this transcription.
Passenger Notes:
# 6 - Could be an r or v, Parr or Parv
#100 - Could be an i or c, Laidler or Lacdler
#101 - Same as 100
#115 - Could be an i or e, Kali or Kale
#119 - Could be an a or e, Lanthausen or Lenthausen
#125 - 1st unreadable letter could be an i. 2nd unreadable letter could be an
r. 3rd unreadable letter could be a g or y. This seems most likely to
be George, but it really doesn't look like George. It looks most like
Geirye. Also, the last letter which have transcribed as an e could
actually be a curly end to the prior letter which would be the g or y.
This would make the name Geiry or Geirg.
#127 - In the sex column, the M is overwritten with an F
#132 - Looks like Laura but I'm not sure. None of the unreadable letters
extend above or below the line.
#153 - Could be an i or s, Fleita or Flesta
#156 - Looks like re, but can't tell for sure
#186 - 1st unreadable character could be an a or e. 2nd unreadable letter
could be an n or er. Salin, Salier, Selin, Selier.
#194 - 1st unreadable character looks like a y but could be a g. 2nd
unreadable character looks like a b but is not very tall. Possibly
Burybyne or Burgbyne but I can't say for sure.
#200 - Looks most like a 0 but could be a 6. It is written very small compared
to other 0s.
