Transcriber's Notes:

This might be a partial list. There are numbers on the original copy of 118
(I think might mean 1st page) 52 and 6 (I think might mean this page)
equaling 176.
4 & 5 These could be a K for first initial
51 Could be Nester
56 & 57 I think is way of writing Mr.

On places of birth I have tried to find an equivalent on todays maps and note below
if they are different than what is written on original manifest. These are
only possibilities.
1 Griefenberg - Grafen Berg (per correspondence Greifenberg)
23 Schweidwitz - Schweiditz (per correspondence Schweidwitz is Schweidnitz, near
Breslau and is called Schwidnitza - polnisch name.)
25 Norvay - Norway
26 Breslan - Breslenz, Briezlang (per correspondence Breslau is called Wroclaw now
and is a big city in Silesia)
28 Eisenach - Eisenbach
32 Neunster - Neu Stuer
34 Hagen - Haggen
36 Prietz - Prietzen, Prietitz, Preist
37 Dingleben - Dingsleben
38 Griedinburg - Gretenberg
40 Voschenrode - Vockenrod
