I, Cap Ettore Zar, Master, of the "Presidente Wilson" from
Trieste, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that I have caused the
surgeon of said vessel sailing therewith, or the surgeon employed by the owners thereof, to make a physical and mental examination of each and all of the aliens named in the foregoing Lists or Manifest Sheets, thirty in number, and that from the report of said surgeon and from my own investigation, I believe that no one of said aliens is of any of the classes excluded from admission into the United States by section three of the Immigration Act, and that also, according to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information in said Lists or Manifests concerning each of said aliens named therein is correct and true in every respect.

the females. To save space this transcription uses M or F to
designate the sex of each crewmember.
* The original manifest was typed using upper case letters.
* This section of the manifest has been renumbered for transcription
purposes.
* The original numbers for these crewmembers are 1 through 150.
* A handwritten note across the top of the first page says:

* All misspellings have been transcribed as they appear on the
original manifest and should not be considered as errors made
by the transcriber.
* Question marks represent letters that cannot be identified with
certainty either because they were typed over another letter
rendering both unreadable, or the typewriter key did not strike
the paper cleanly.
* There are a number of entries that have lines drawn through them,
crossing them out and, in some cases, making them difficult to read.
They are noted below.
* Each crewmember, with the exception of #1477, 1480, 1494, 1511, 1522,
1552, 1570, and 1575, has a handwritten check-mark at the right side
of the given name column.
* Most of the crewmembers have either the handwritten letters NC on the
line to the left of the number for their entry, or a five or six digit
number(or in two cases, the notation No.No.)handwritten in the Position
in Ship's Company column, just above the entry in that column. The
meaning of these notations is unknown. A summary of this information
is at the bottom of this page. Where there are none of these notations,
the column has been left blank.
1138, it appears that there may be up to three letters missing from
the front of this surname. There is a space where either the
manifest suffered damage or a partial incorrect entry was
deliberately obliterated. Because the list was typed in capital
letters, it is impossible to tell if the letter I is intended to
be the first letter of this name.
1156, entry crossed out.
1161, entry crossed out. Town may be something like Dragositi.
1164, entry crossed out.
1175, the numbers in the day of the date obviously are transposed, and
should read 27. Family name could be Corzolino.
1176, the ? may represent an M, so the name may be Maraspin.
1177, entry crossed out. The Race column is empty.
1180, a crewman listed as Bartolomeo Figlia is recorded as having deserted
the ship. See entry #1180 on PAGE 71.
1184, it is likely that the given name was mis-typed and should be Giuseppe.
1186, complete family name is Matas Canzelir.
1187, a crewman listed as Giovanni Sponza is recorded as having deserted
the ship. See entry #1186 on PAGE 71.
