AFFIDAVIT OF THE MASTER OR COMMANDING OFFICER,
OR FIRST OR SECOND OFFICER

I, Cap Ettore Zar, Master, of the "Presidente Wilson" from Trieste, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that I have caused the surgeon of said vessel sailing therewith, or the surgeon employed by the owners thereof, to make a physical and mental examination of each and all of the aliens named in the foregoing Lists or Manifest Sheets, thirty in number, and that from the report of said surgeon and from my own investigation, I believe that no one of said aliens is of any of the classes excluded from admission into the United States by section three of the Immigration Act, and that also, according to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information in said Lists or Manifests concerning each of said aliens named therein is correct and true in every respect.

          At the top of the page is List 3 stamped. The 3 in "guardian of 3/27/28" most
          likely refers to this number. 27 & 28 refer to the line numbers, although there
          seems to be a mistake. Passengers in lines 26 & 27 have the same last name as this
          passenger while the passenger in line 28 has a different name and is the mother of
          the passenger in line 29. Therefore it seems that passengers 583 & 584 are the wards
          of this passenger.
