Transcriber's Notes:
* Indicates additional information in a footnote.
? Indicates a letter that could not be read with certainty.
^ Indicates that a raised letter follows; appears in abbreviated names.
187 Surname looks like Grisham but could be Graham.
188 On the manifest the letter a was open appearing the same as u. Therefore
the name Jane could have been June, for example.
212 Looks like John Book, but is probably John Booth.
219 Surname looks like Kaver, but could be Karer.
231 Age was blurred; maybe 35.
236 Surname might be Greedy or Grudy.
360 First name looks like Ony; maybe Amy?
363 First name hard to read; maybe Allice, or Ellin.
372 Looks like Feighery but the ei might be wrong. Could be an u.
389 The surname looks like Ultz but could be Altz because the recorder never
closed his a's.
391 Uncertain of first name spelling.
397 No surname on manifest; assumed that of preceding person.
398 Looks like Voyce, but is probably Joyce.
