Transcriber's Notes:
All passengers were going to become inhabitants of the United States so that
column was eliminated. Between that column and "Died on Voyage" there was a
vertical wavy line from the first passenger to Agnes Paget. In the last
column opposite Sarah Wheeler are the words Coliax (or Colin) Hofurger,
spelling uncertain.
Although the handwriting was generally good, J and I were identical except a
few instances where the J went below the line. Small a and u were often
identical; a, n, and m tops were open and easily confused with u and w.
Many first names were abbreviated with the last letter raised. I have
indicated a raised letter by preceding it with a caret(^).
? All question marks represent letters that could not be read with
certainty.
Notes regarding specific passengers:
*3 ? A.T. Hobbs' first initial is either I or J.
*12 Fellows' first name or initial was an I or J followed by a very small o.
*14 Romley first name looks something like Mifo.
*31 ? Keats first name same as Fellows above.
*38 M. J. Be?dn looks like Bewdn or Bewda which is unlikely.
*46 Ke?id Hudson looks like Kesid Hudson.
*60 Mary Se??lon might be Mary Seanlon or Seciulon. Scanlon is logical but
not obvious.
*77 John Thea? looks something like John Theaic.
*91 Caroline Green was manifested as a male.
*122 Margt. Cav??? might be Cavcina.
*160 John McCoh? could be McCohn or McCoher.
*167 James H?lligan is either Halligan or Hulligan.
*178 Mat? Wilson may be Mat with a raised w for Matthew.
*181 Bridget Trainer's age was 50 or 57 overwritten.
*185 James M?thy probably was Mathy but could be Muthy.
