I, Alex M. Ritchie, Master of the Steam-Ship Utopia, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said S.S. Utopia at London from which port said Utopia has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. remainder of passengers on the page, regardless of sex
or age.

Shoumer, or Shomuer.
13 Johan Vic?szi?k - None of the letters in question
fall below or extend high above the line.
14 ?????s F???lenen - It appears a piece of tape was
holding two pages together when the list was filmed.
This tape is covering most of this name, making it
impossible to read.
15 ?. Koch - This letter is either M or W.
23 U. Symanski - There's an ink spot covering the age.
26 Jos Clo?d - The name is either Cloud or Clond.
