LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Umatilla, sailing from Victoria, B.C., June 2, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, June 5th, 1894.

1 is going to join sister--N. Cavallero Oakland. There is an extensive note on
the page as follows. "Ernest Cavallero has a sister(crossed out) uncle in SF
Nacleto Cavallero. He lives in Temescal he is single he works in a Cemetary
he has worked there 2 yr I am going to Temescal. I have $20 I am a laborer."
Transcriber's note: Temescal is not in SF but in Riverside County in southern
California.
