I, Caleb Anthony, Jr., master of Ship Thomas Dickason do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Thomas Dickason whereof I am Master from Liverpool, 29 Aug 1828, Before me signed Caleb Anthony, Jr.
List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Ship Thomas Dickason whereof Caleb Anthony, Jr. is master, from Liverpool. Burthen 454 43/95 tons.
Columns represent: names, age, sex, occupation, country to which they belong, country which they intend to inhabit, and those who died on the voyage.*

Transcriber's Notes:     
  *No entries were made in the sex column, therefore, that column has been 
   omitted.  All passengers were listed as belonging to Great Britain, and 
   intending to become inhabitants of the United States, therefore, those 
   columns have been omitted.  No passengers died on the voyage, therefore, 
   that column has been omitted.

   The passengers are not numbered on the original manifest.  The numbers 
   were added for transcription purposes.
  
Passenger #8 is a direct ancestor of the transcriber.  William Caine 
   was born in 1806 on the Isle of Man.  He settled in Brooklyn, where 
   he was an engineer.  In 1834, he married Jane Ann Kewley (b May 1, 1809 
   on the Isle of Man).  Jane died in Brooklyn on January 19, 1879.  
   William died in Brooklyn on December 11, 1889.  They are both buried 
   at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.  Picture
