Transcriber's Notes
The Remarks column had no entries. The arrival date at the top of the manifest list, page one, and written in the body of page 2 is April 2. The captain's statement has no date. The separately filmed cover sheet gives April 1. The blanks in the captain's statement and that of his witness are not completely filled out. Missing information is indicated by *. The last three passengers are on a separate page. There is a note at the bottom of the first page that says 3 ? (possibly F or &) Mex. It probably refers to passengers 29-31 on the second page. Furthermore, the three passengers on the second page, 29-31, appear to be the same people as passengers 25-27 on the first page. The surname Gr(a/o)jid(e/a)is spelled differently in the two listings and in the note at the end of page two. 1&2 There is a bracket to show that the number of pieces of baggage for these passengers is shared. 29-31 There are separate paragraphs for each of these passengers at the bottom of the page.
