The immigrant will be required to swear to the truth of the following answers, if it be called for by the Commissioner of Immigration at the port of arrival in the United States. (A false oath will subject the immigrant to fine or imprisonment.)

Transcriber's Notes There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest. Each passenger has a separate sheet with the individual passenger's name in the blank at the top. The name and place of business of the agent was not filled out. Pages 1,2 & 4 have a paragraph written in that more or less reiterates the information in the table. These are copied in the notes. The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not included in the table: Last Residence=Mazatlan Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco Final Destination in the US=San Francisco Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes By whom was passage paid?=self Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no Whether a Polygamist=no Whether under contract to labor in the US=no Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good Whether having any deformities=no 1 has been to San Francisco Aug 1892. "Left S.F. 2 yrs ago for Mazatlan. She had been here 11 yrs. She comes to rejoin Mrs Horace Meyer Williams for whom she worked when she was here before. No money. I raised Mrs Meyers 4 children 3 boys & 1 girl. 'I can't read or write.'" There is no signature at the bottom of her page where there is an asterisk. 2 In the money column below the $20 transcribed is written $16 Mex money $1 US. He was in SF 1864. He is going to join his brother's family Saville Ariola 1439 Polk. "Isabel de Ariola is my sister-in-law and lives at Polk No. 439. She is a widow. Comes to establish himself in Photographic business or in a drug business. I have land and money in Mazatlan of the value of about $2000." He has signed the page "Agustin Beav??." 3 Going through to Honolulu by next Str is written in. He has been to SF Dec 1893. He has signed the page, "HWS Edwards." 4 In the money column below the more than $30 transcribed is written $10. She has been to SF 1893. She is going to join Daughter, A Bertran 607 Mont. Ave. "I went to Mexico 6 mo since to pass the winter. I am a widow. I have a married daughter here married to Mr B?time (this could be Butime or Bertime). Her husband is a bookkeeper for Tansky bookstore on Post St. My daughter lives at 607 Mt Ave. I am going to live with my daughter." She has signed the page "Rosa V de Scott."
