DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Robert Leitch Master of the SS "City of Richmond" do solemnly, sincerely, and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the passengers taken on Board the said SS "City of Richmond" at Liverpool Via Queenstown from which Port said SS "City of Richmond" has now arrived; and that on the said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the SS "City of Richmond" whereof Robert Leitch is Master, from Liverpool Via Queenstown burthen (blank not filled in) tons.

Transcriber's Notes:
* The use of an asterisk (*) indicates an error or omission made by the original
  recorder. 
* The use of a question mark (?) indicates a letter or word that cannot be read due
  to the quality of the original document.
* None of these passengers died on the voyage, so that column has been eliminated.

Passenger Notes:
* 737 This is likely the child of James Brian, passenger #728.
* 796 & 797 The passenger name looks like Swerb or Severb.
* 805 The letter "d" appears to be written over the "th" in the last name.  Hence 
  it might be Beckford instead of Beckforth.
* On the actual manifest renumbering started with the Cabin passengers.  Passengers
  #759-#818 on this list are actually shown on the manifest as #1-#59.
