DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Robert Leitch Master of the S. S. "City of Richmond" do solemnly,
sincerely, and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest,
subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the
Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List
of all the passengers taken on Board the said S. S. "City of Richmond" at
Liverpool Via Queenstown from which Port said S. S. "City of Richmond" has now
arrived; and that on the said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and
the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel
occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and
also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant;
and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said
Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who
died.

Passenger 17 - s in Thos is superscripted, presumably Thomas.
Passenger 26 - Last name appears to be Doore, although all letters except D are
unclear. All letters except D are short - none extend above midline or below
bottom line. Possibly Dowe. See also passenger 55.
Passenger 28 - Age is faint, could possibly be 20.
Passenger 29 - Wm, presumably William, although m is not superscripted.
Passenger 30 - Last name - second letter i or e, followed by n and then one or two
short letters, extending neither above midline nor below bottom line. Possibly
eu or iu or w. Last two letters dy are clear.
Passenger 31 - Same as passenger 30.
Passenger 33 - Last letter of first name is superscripted. Appears to be or, but
is indistinct.
Passenger 35 - First name transcribed as written. The recorder wrote "Micheal"
several times throughout the list, presumably misspelling Michael. (See also
passengers 127, 138.)
Passengers 40-43 - Passenger 40 appears on the bottom of a page, followed by
passenger 41, whose last name is indicated to be the same using ". The name
clearly appears to be McAlidon. However, passenger 42 is at the top of the next
page, followed by 43, again with ". This appears to clearly say McAliden. It
appears likely that all four passengers have the same name.
Passenger 50 - Last name either Vaughan or Vaighan.
Passenger 55 - Last name appears to be Dowe, but could be Doore. See also
passenger 26.
Passenger 56 - Same as passenger 55.
Passenger 60 - Michl, presumably Michael - l is not superscripted but appears to
have a dot beneath it. Last name Connell or Connoll.
Passenger 72 - Wm, presumably William, although m is not superscripted.
Passenger 76 - t in first name is superscripted.
Passenger 80 - Last name appears to be Corigan, but could be Congan.
Passenger 87 - Patk. presumably Patrick, . after k is clear, but k is not
superscripted.
Passenger 90 - Bridgt, presumably Bridget, but t is not superscripted.
Passenger 92 - Bridgt, presumably Bridget, but t is not superscripted.
Passenger 94 - Patk, presumably Patrick, but k is not superscripted.
