I Charles E Coffin, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that
the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name and now
delivered by me to the Collector of the customs for the district of New York
contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of
all the Passengers received on board the Richard Anderson whereof I am master,
at the time of her sailing from the Port of Rotterdam. Sworn to before me,

of Baltimore, whereof C E Coffin is Master, bound from Rotterdam for
New York burthen 586 66/95 tons.

1/2 year, since ages for other infants were written as # months.
* 198 - Mark over "a" in Kamerlin, not clear if it is an umlaut or just a
stray mark
* 199 - Occupation recorded as butcher, then crossed out.
* 204 - Surname looks like Haugg or Glaugg
* 203-204 - Travelling together; 1 piece of baggage total
* 208-210 - Surname looks like Endlich or Enolich. Travelling together;

Paul Eduard Wellner was born 11 November 1830 in Brackenheim, Wurttemberg.
Although his occupation on the manifest is listed as farmer, he was trained
as a stonecutter and practiced that trade after arriving in the U.S., working
in stone quarries and on railroad bridges and canals. He lived in New York
for about two years before moving to Rockford, Illinois, and then to Galena,
Illinois, spending about a year-and-a-half in each place. While in Galena,
he married Christina Meidinger. A short time later they took up a homestead
in Marietta Township, Crawford County, Wisconsin, where their four children
were born: Charles, Charlotte, Caroline, and Pauline. After Christina's
death, he married Margaretha Henkel in 1863. About a year later, the family
relocated to Marion Township, Grant County, Wisconsin, where he continued to
farm as well as becoming involved in local government. Paul and Margaretha
had five children together: Louis, Mary, Henry, Anna, and August. Paul Wellner
died 18 November 1905. Nancy Scott
