SS Plantagenet
I, Abel Beard, master of British SS Plantagenet do solemnly, sincerely, and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said SS Plantagenet at Kingston & Port Au Prince from which port the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: names, age, sex, occupation, country to which they severally belong, country in which they intend to become inhabits, died on the voyage, part of the vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage.

Transcriber's Notes:
Where question marks (??) are present, the letters were indistinguishable.
There were no deaths on this voyage so this column was eliminated.
The Yes or No were next to "Saloon" in the same column. They did not have a
column of their own. I assumed this was a yes or no as to whether they
stayed in the Saloon during the passage.
For passenger #17, the country they intend to inhabit was left blank.
For passenger #21 the occupation J-O-Q-E-N-S were clearly the letters written
but I don't know what type of occupation this is. It may be an abbreviation,
possibly a Spanish word.
