LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were 
 not included in the table:

 By whom was passage paid?himself 
 Whether in Possession of Money-if less than $30, how much?yes

 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 
Letters that are illegible or difficult to interpret are replaced by ?.

2  was a Student at Ann Arbor for 10 years. His Last Residence looks most like 
    Yehime, but the initial letter is not the same as other capital "Y"s on 
    the list.  It could be "G."  There is a Ye Shima in the gazeteer, but no 
    Yehime. There is no Gehime. 
3  first name is Kumiosuke or Kuranosuke.  He has been at Tacoma Wash for six 
    years
9  has been once before 1892 to S.F. Kearny St.  He is going to join 
    Bro M. Shibata 335 Kearny St
12 missing letter in surname is "a" or "u."
