A question mark is used to indicate a letter or letters that could not be read due to the condition of the original document. Passenger #80 is a six month old female infant, but no name is listed for her. In most cases bracketed numbers indicated the number of pieces of baggage for each family group. For the sake of clarity the toal number of pieces of baggage has been listed with the first person in each family or group, and an asterik is used in that column for the rest of the family. *W In most cases this appears to be the letter W but beginning with passenger #51, it looks more like an "N". I have left it as it appears in each case.
