Transcriber's Notes:
29 First name appears to be Jas with the "s" lifted up from the "a" indicating
an abbreviation. Jas may be short for Jacob or James
39 First name appears most likely to be Saul, could be Paul
42 First name as Berry on passenger list, Bery on cargo list
43 First name appears to be Tery, surname appears as P?ice, could be Price
47 First name may be abbrv for Richard, last name spelled as Byrn on passenger
& cargo list; however search of Irish names reveals common spelling to be
Byrne. Also note first number in age 64 is difficult to read and the 6 may
be a 4 but this seems unlikely given how the other 4 was written.
53 - 56 Last name difficult to read, comparing passenger list to cargo list
most likely is Hustes or Hiestes
56 After Infant are the letters "da", however the sex column indicates male
with the use of ditto marks.
61 Note on Passenger list he is listed as "A. Jackson", however under Cargo
listed as "Alex Jackson".
Please note that a separate cargo manifest and list follows below.
Unusual Occupational Definitions: WHEELWRIGHT - A maker or repairer of wagon wheels. CLOTHIER / CLOTHESMAN / CLOTHMAN - A person who made or sold clothes.
The misspellings/inaccuracies of the passenger's information has been transcribed as it was written, and is not an error on the part of the transcriber.
Note. --If any articles of the Outward Cargo are brought back, they are to be detailed, specifying by whom shipped outward, and by whom consigned inward. The names of all Passengers, distinguishing whether Cabin or Steerage Passengers, with the descriptions and number of Packages containing their baggage, or the tools or implements of a mechanical trade, and the Vessel and Cabin stores must also be inserted in the Manifest.
I, Isbon Benedict, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the Report and Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true Account of all the Goods, Wares, and Merchandise, including Packages of every kind and nature whatsoever, which were on board the Ship North Star at the time of her sailing from the Port of Liverpool or which have been laden or taken on board at any time since; and that the Packages of the said Goods are as particularly described as in the Bills of Lading, signed for the same by me, or with my knowledge; That I am at present, and have been during the voyage, Master of the said vessel: that no Packages whatsoever, or any Goods, Ware or Merchandise, have been unladen, landed, taken out, or in any manner whatever removed from on board the said Ship since her departure from the said Port of Liverpool except such as are now particularly specified and declared in the Abstract or Account herewith; and that the Clearance and other Papers, now delivered by me to said Collector, are all that I now have, or have had, that any way relate to the Cargo of the said Vessel: and I do for the use of the Officers, Crew and Passengers thereof, and have none of them been brought, and are not intended, by way of Merchandise, or for sale, or for any other purpose than above mentioned; and are intended to remain on board for the consumption of the said Officers and Crew: I further swear that if I shall hereafter discover, or know of any other or greater quantity of Goods, Wares, and Merchandise, of any nature or kind whatsoever, than are contained in the Report and Manifest subscribed and now delivered by me, I will immediately without delay, make due report thereof, to the Collector of the Port or District of Philadelphia: And I do likewise swear, ledge and belief just and true. I further swear, that our Officer of the Customs Certificate or Endorsement has been delivered to me on Manifest of such Cargo. SO HELP ME GOD. Collector's Office, this 10th day of August, 1832. Before me (no signature evidenced) Collector. *(signed) Isbon Benedict 8 August 1832.
Transcriber's Notes: * Note - Isbon Benedict clearly signed an 8, while the manifest clearly has the 10th written.

Transcriber's Notes:
45 Unable to read -could be a "7" or ditto marks (implying 12) and
ditto marks for packages.
48 Unable to read number of packages
56 is clearly legible, however there is a 1 centered immediately
above the 3, so unsure if this means it is changed to 1 package.
59 unable to read number of packages
