Transcriber's Notes:
Question marks indicate that the original scribes handwriting can not be
interpreted definitely. Asterisk indicates either an error made by the
original scribe or an assumption by this transcriber.
1037 Denis spelled with one n twice in this section.
1038 in the first name the final a is a superscript, and the h is
questionable. Johana maybe a possibility. Surname might be Langan
as the first n is a scrawl.
1039 First name maybe Thomas and the surname is a mess. Maybe starts with
Chev and ends with either buck, buch, or bush. Maybe Chadwick.
1040 First name looks like a contraction for Patrick. Surname starts with C
and the rest is a scrawl.
1044 First name maybe a contraction for Margaret.
1047 First name ends with superscript l - might be contraction for Michael.
Surname begins with M and ends with a y the rest is a scrawl - Meaney
is a guess.
1048 Brid is assumed to be a contraction for Bridget and occurs for 8 other
females this section. Surname maybe McMahara or McMahon, but it
is a wild guess.
1053 Surname maybe Deglan
1061 Surname starts with De - and guesses maybe Decrece, Decrees, etc..
1066 Surname might be Lanergen. There are a few passengers with surnames that
are very similar so I wonder if they are all related.
1072 Surname might start with Fla followed by six or seven scrawled letters.
Maybe Flacecross?
1073 Surname may be Bysine.
1075 Surname Starts with F and ends in er fairly definitely.
1082 first name maybe contraction for Conrad - but the n is highly suspect.
1083 Surname is illegible due to scrawl - starts with C, could be Commer or
Comer or Cromer.
1085 Surname is illegible due to scrawl - starts with C, Connors is a best
guess.
1087 Surname is illegible due to scrawl - starts with Co and could be Colbent
or Colbert.
1091 Looks like a duplicate of 53, both are males named John, 20 yrs old with
surnames that appear to be very similar.
1092 Surname is very questionable - 1st letter could be an I.
1093 Occupation - 1st thrre letters is fairly definitely Mat, the last 3 are
a scrawl and could be ron or man
1094 Surname could be Horace, Horse or House, or quite a few other things as
well.
1096 Surname is very difficult to interpret - Could be MacHaney or MacLancy.
1097 Surname might be McDonovan.
1099 All letters of the first name are best guesses.
1101 Surname Downey is best guess - the "wn" is a terible scrawl.
1102 The first 3 or 4 letters of her surname are best guesses.
1103 Occupation-best guess is Seamstress
1104 First name might be Ellen.
1111 First name looks like Jno
1114 First name may be Mary - the "ll" maybe an "r". The surname is vey hard
to interpret-may start with either Hov or Had or Harl, and may end with
sen.
1115 Surname of Dalinty is best guess the "n" is questionable.
1124, 1136, 1137, 1138 Occupation Tanner may be Farmer-all very similar
1126 Surname is could be many things-can't even guess what it was.
1129 Surname: "He" is certain but the rest is a scrawl.
1137 Surname is unreadable
1140 First name is a wild guess-can not really make out the first letter-Thos
is also possible.
1145 First name is a wild guess-maybe abbreviation for Johanna
1147 Name had been squeezed in between two lines and surname is illegible.
1176 Surname could be Masters
* 1149 next to the 7 in the age column there is a crossed out 20.
1153 Surname could be Greany and age of 21 is questionable - looks as if it
was 26 and then the 6 over written with a 1.
1154 Surname is a best guessmight also be Russels-the Ru are the only
definite letters
1155 Surname could be Ackeavan, but the last 4 letters or so are a scrawl;
first name is also a scrawl;
age of 25 is questionable as the 5 has been smeared.
1168 Surname could be Cramer.
1169 First name looks like Capt with superscrit "n", i.e. abbreviation for
Captain. Surname Still is a best guess.
1171 Surname could be Means
1176 Surname could be Masters
1183 Could be Mr. Ned.
