The line was probably used to denote ditto for previous information, however, as in a few instances "do" was written, it cannot be stated for certain that the horizontal line did in fact also mean ditto, though it probably did. So if the horizontal line means ditto as well, then any blank spaces in those columns could be assumed to be marked ditto for previous information. #2 age probably 28. #8 surname could be McCurdy or possibly McLurdy. #13 surname possibly begins with A or I or J, but looks something like Islh or Isen. #16 surname could be spelled Torrens. Cannot be certain of second number in age. #23 age not given. #35 cannot determine age, due to damage in area. #39 surname could be Maxwell or Manvill. #46 occupation sawyer or lawyer. #47 unable to discern name due to large amount of smudging. #54 age in teens, cannot read second number. #55 age could be 20 or 30. #56 age possibly 22. #59 age could be 24. #65 surname could be spelled Kullilane. #66 surname could be spelled McKearnan. #76 about 8 letters in first name, looks something like Florinda. #81 surname looks something like Ridgate. #85 surname looks something like Milty or Mitty or Mitly or Misty.
