Transcriber's Notes:
The " ^ " in the first name indicates that it is an abbreviation and the
letters following the ^ are written above the line.
The Captains name is spelled two different ways and they are both in his
own hand. Jamieson, Jameson.
The spelling of all names is as written on the manifest as best I can
decipher them.
11 There is a smear that makes reading the surname almost impossible. The first
letter could be a Y. Making it Young. It could also be an N. Making it
Noung.
22,23,24,26,27. The first name of these passengers is crossed out and a squiggly
line is beside the names. As noted above at the end of the passenger list is
a note in the Captains hand that they were not on board. No explanation.
41,42 The ages were written half in and half out of the month column. But more
in in the month column. I am guessing that they are both in the month column.
55 This surname is either Binnie or Bennie. There is a dot over the second
letter but can't be sure if it is an imperfection in the film or a genuine "i".
69 The first letter resembles the first letter in # 46 Short. But it is hard to
tell. The second letter partly obscured by a flaw in the film. The name could
read S?nal. The second letter could be an a or a u or an e or an I. Making
it Sanal, Sunal, Senal or Sinal.
75 This passenger is listed as Mrs. McGovern but designated a Male and given an
occupation of Merchant.
92,93 This name could be spelled McCaskin. I am undecided which letter is proper.
