I, George S. Peabody, master of S. S. Isaac Wright do solemnly,
sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, of passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Isaac Wright whereof I am Master, from Liverpool. Passengers #13 & 14 - Two Bridget's in the same family. This is exactly as it was
written.
Passenger #28 - Age looks like a large "A".
Passenger #44 - Looks like Weab?? Six letters only.
Passenger #67 - The name is transcribed as written. Andew. Probably Andrew.
Passenger #99 - Margrate is spelled as written. Passenger 88 was Margaret but from
99 on, Captain seems to have changed to Margrate.
Passenger #114 - Female probably was not a laborer but that is what was written.
Passenger #119 - Age was written as a fraction, 1 1/2
Passenger #131 - About 9 letters, all small with nothing below the line or below.
Last letter probably an S.
Passenger #133 - There was no passenger 133 noted on this list. The number was
skipped.
Passenger #153 - Occupation could be sailor.
Passenger #177 - There was no passenger 177 noted on this list. The number was
skipped.
Passenger #198 - Unreadable age. Could be 50.
Passenger #201 - 2nd letter could be an L. There appears to be a dot over the i but
it could be a spot on the copy also.
