Transcriber's Notes:

Sligo is on the northwest coast of Northern Ireland in the Donegal Bay.

The original recorder wrote Laborer, G Britain, America across the top of each
page of the manifest and drew a line down each page indicating all passengers
were laborers, even children, that all passengers were from Great Britain and
all were going to America.

An asterick indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber or is used to call your attention to additional information in the
Transcriber's Notes below.

The writer often did not cross the t's, or close a's and frequently ran the
given name into the surname with flourishes or with no separation.

I have used a caret ^, the symbol above the 6 on the keyboard, to indicate a
superscript used in abbreviations.

* Original manifest torn and the port of departure and the weight of the ship
  cannot be read.

2* The last name appears to be spelled Babitte or Babitle. The recorder used
many flourishes in the writing and letters of names listed above and below
often extend into the lines between.
22* The surname could be Lemhan or Lenham.
31* The given name is abbreviated either Jono or Jont, possibly for Jonathan.
33-35* This surname appears to be Riddegm or Riddegin.
37* This last name could be Conner, Donner or OConner with the O and the C
    written over each other.
39* The given name may be Honer.
40* The age could be 16 or 26 or 36. The recorder changed the age and you can't
    tell exactly what it is.
52* This given name may be Mailen. The surname maybe Fahley.
55* This passenger is either 55 or 35
66* There is definetly an e at the end of the surname.
67* Mch I think is an abbreviation for Michael. The writer used other
    abbreviations for the same name.
68* The first name is difficult to read. The Pat, superscript k, and the Mc of
the surname are written as one word. The name reads Partrick McGwin.
69* This surname could be Finan, Fanan, or Fenan.
76* The first name may be another abbreviation for Patrick.
83* The surname may be either Cuff or Caff.
84* The surname is either Bank or possibly Banks.
93* The age is either 21 or 27.
104* This passenger is listed as a stowaway.
105* The surname may begin Tan or m, but that is all I can decipher. After the
Ta all the letters look like m's or n's, . This passenger is the second
    stowaway.

Recapitulation* The recorder obviously counted passenger 65, Jas Dunnegan, as
the only infant and made no allowances for children, labeling them as adults.

(Signed) P?neway* This is not the Captain or the Customs Collector. It may be
the person who recorded the list as the handwriting is the same.
