Transcriber's Notes:
I have tried to faithfully transcribe this manifest to the best of
my ability. Where spelling is in question it is as it appears on
the manifest.
16 There is a smudge here, making it impossible to read the letter in
question.
20 Most of the women are not given an occupation but this Lady is noted
as a laborer. I would guess that it is an error.
34 There is a smudge here in the film and it is impossible to read the
given name.
41-42-43-44 The ? could be an s. The writing is very poor. I compared
it to other known names and I just can't be sure.
47 The ink is very thick with the given name and there is a slight smudge
here. The same is true of the Surname. The given name could be
Davidson. The surname could be Tovtog or Tortoy or any combination
of those names.
58-59-60-61 The second letter could be an a or two letters run togather
making a blob. The third letter is a slanting letter that goes above
and below the line. Could be an f. The following letter could be an
r, followed by an a. The next four names were all ditto marks so
there was no way to check this name out. The second letter could be
an s and the following letter the old time way of writing double s.
Making the name Cassra.
104 The letter could be an l, making the name Lour. The tail of the y in
the previous name runs into this letter making it iffy.
106-07-08-09 This name could be Postz or Posty or Portz or Porty. The writing
is just too bad to read with certinty.
120 This female has an occupation of Laborer. Most females have no occupation
listed. Could be a mistake.
132 This age is poorly writen. The first number is probably a 1 and the second
either another 1 or a 0. I can't make it out.
169 Another female with the occupation of Laborer.
