This SHIP LIST was translated by Hermann Seele of San Antonio, Texas from the German Year Book (31st issue), published by the New Braunfels Zeitung for 1936, being a supplement to the regular issue of the New Braunfels Zeitung, dated Thursday, July 9, 1936.

The German newspaper (Zeitung) was founded November 12, 1852.
