Havana, Cuba to New York, New York
January 15, 1856

DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, C. A. Boggs Master of the Steamer Granada do solemnly, sincerely and truly that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Steamer at Havana from which port said Steamer has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

List or Manifest Of ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the Steamship Granada whereof C. A. Boggs is Master from Havana Cuba burthen 1058 91/95 tons.
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, Country to which they severally belong, Country of which they intend to become inhabitants, and Part of the vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage.

Transcriber's Notes:

The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by original recorder.
The ? mark indicates a word or letters that cannot be read due to the quality
  of the original document.

Passenger 1  The ? is on the line and may be an o, or r.
Passenger 12 The ??? last three or four letters of the name: the first letter 
             is tall and may be an l, b, or h. the second letter may be an 
             a,e,or o. The third letter may be an n or m. All letters together 
             may be born, burn, or bern.
Passenger 13 The ? is on the line and may be a g, y or z.
Passenger 16 The ? is above the line. It may be an A, or I.
Passenger 18 The first ? on the line and is either and i or e. The next two 
             ?? are on the line and are either nn or rr. The next ? is below 
             the line and appears to be z or g.  
Passenger 19 The ?? may be initials The first ? is above the line. It appears 
             to be an I. The second ? is above the line. It appears to be an 
             R or L.

There were no births or deaths on this passage, therefore the birth/death 
column has been eliminated.
