Schooner Falcon
Passengers list "the Passenger Act, 1882"
I, J.J. Moller, Master of the Schnr Falcon do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collections District of San Francisco, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Taiohae, Marquesas Isl from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the calling of each of the said passengers, the location or space of the compartment occupied by each during the passage, the country of citizenship of each, and also the destination or location intended by each; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the dates and causes of death, and the names and ages of those who died; also of the pieces of baggage of each; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country. So help me God.
Sworn to this * day of * 188*
J.J. MollerList or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Falcon whereof J.J. Moller is Master, from Taioohae, burthen 196 tons
Columns represent: Number, Name, Age, Sex, Calling, Country of which they are severally Citizens, Baggage, Native Country of Emmigrants, Intended Destination or Location, Location of Compartment, Died on Voyage
1 Andron 35 male Master mariner France Six * San Francisco Cabin * 2 C. Fritch 34 male Merchant United States One * San Francisco Cabin Transcriber's Notes
There is no date of arrival on the manifest but the index at the beginning of the film lists December 14 (1893) as the arrival date. There are dashes for both passengers in the Native Country of Emigrants column. There is a check mark in the Died on Voyage column for passenger 1. There are often check marks on the manifests so this probably does not indicate the passenger's death.
