I, Cha^s K. Crocker do solemnly, sincerely and truly
swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed
with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs
for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge
and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received
on board the Ship Excelsior whereof I am Master, from Liverpool

Transcriber's Notes:
* Passenger numbers were added to make identification easier.
* The death column has been eliminated as only three died and are so
noted by each passenger.
* Only ten passengers are listed with an occupation other than
labourer so that column is left out and the occupation is listed in these
notes under the individual passenger.
* The original list taker began by using "inf 4 mo" but then changed to
"4inf" meaning the same thing.
* Many given name abreviations occur, ie. Patk for Patrick, Will" for
William, Brid" for Bridget, etc. These " had no superscripted letters.
I replaced the " with a ^ so the search engine could find it. Some
instances of an abreviation such as Elizth with the th superscripted
do appear and I have typed them as Eliz^th and Tho^s for Thomas.
