Transcriber's Notes:

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
   in the transcriber's notes.

The first two paragraphs above are printed as part of the form for this list. The next
three paragraphs are two separate stamps placed on the body of the page and then completed.
The first stamp has been altered: From Victoria B.C. was crossed out and replaced with From
Pt Townsend, In transit to China was crossed out and replaced with In transit to
San Francisco, Victoria Chinamen, Victoria was crossed out.

The pages on this film are not numbered so finding a particular ship can be difficult.
However, there appears to be a system of numbering the manifests. These numbers are
included in the identification of the film and reel numbers below.

The cover sheet for this list has a hand written note and a stamp. The note is:
I certify that I have this day landed the within named Chinese passenger (signature)
 WW Presbury Feb 21, 1894

The stamp is:
Surveyor; Land within named Chinese passenger on identification
 (signature) JJ Tobin Dep Coll.

The following column had no entries:
If accredited oficers of Chinese Government, state facts
