DISTRICT OF NEW YORK – PORT OF NEW YORK
I, John Robinson, Master of the Canada do solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered to the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board said Vessel at London from which Port said Vessel has now arrived: and that on the said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of the said Passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who have died.

Transcriber's Notes:
The following columns were eliminated:     
  Column 6 - All Passengers intended to become Inhabitants of the U.S.A.
  Column 7 - There were no deaths on the voyage.
   '*' indicates the reader should refer to these transcribers notes for more
        information on a certain passenger.
   '?' indicated the number of letters or numbers which are un-readable due to 
        faint printing, smearing, torn paper etc..
   '^' indicates the letter following the ^ was super-scripted.

The following names were abbreviated. Possible full names are included:
   Alf^d - Alfred        Cath - Catherine          Cha^s - Charles
   Dan^l - Daniel        Ed - Edward or Edwin      Geo - George
   Hy - Hyram            Jas - James               Jn^o - John or Jonathan
   Marg^t - Margaret     Rob^t - Robert            Sam^l - Samuel

Passengers:
  7 - First name is very faint, but it looks like Arabella
 32 - Last name is very faint but the Kouins is clear and the ending
           is possibly correct.
 33 - Last name is a ditto of #32.               
 41 - Nio^s is possibly an abbreviation for Nicholas. Last name is clearly
           NOT McCarthy.
 45 - Name is clearly 'Josef' and sex is clearly 'f'.
 46 - Name Column contains the written numbers '418/90'. No explanation.
 47 - First name is so faint it is very hard to read.
 87 - Last name could either be Elnestone or Eluestone.
 99 & 100 - Last name is very faint, but Pobitt seems to fit.
