Transcriber's Notes:
The use of an * indicates a name that is unreadable as written by the
original recorder.

The use of a ? indicates letters that could not be read due to the
handwriting of the original recorder.

The passengers were numbered by the transcriber, not on original film.

Pasenger #11 - Jas Clark Ros?t???? - another name is added after
Clark which could begin "Rost" or "Roset" followed by two to three
other small letters such as "eau" or "us" or "eis." The name is
traced over and appears to be added or corrected after the original
list was made. Possible names are for this individual: James Clark,
James Clark Rosteau, James Clark Rostus, James Clark Rosteis, James
Clark Roseteau, James Clark Rosetus, James Clark Roseteis.

Passenger #27 - Thomas Ellt??? - the last two or three letters in
this name are small letters which chould be "en" or "ern" or "ier"
for Thomas Ellten or Thomas Elltern or Thomas Elltier.

In some cases the original recorder used "Jas" for "James," "Chas"
for "Charles," and "Wm" for "William." These names were transcribed
as written but are included here in full for searching convenience: James Whitman, James Mooney,
William English, James Clark Ros?t???? (see above), William McAvery,
and Charles Ganet.
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M277, Reel 22, List 112.
