LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Australia, sailing from Honolulu, June 23, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, June 30, 1894.
Columns represent: Number, Name, Age, Married or Single, Occupation, Nationality, Last Residence, Whether in Possession of Money-if less than $30, how much?, Whether ever before in the US, Whether going to join Relative or Friend

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not
 included in the table:
 Sex=M 
 Able to Read & Write=y 
 Seaport for Landing in the US=S.F.  
 Final Destination in the US=S.F. 
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes 
 By whom was passage paid?=myself 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 

1 No is written under Tailor in the occupation column, but Tailor is not crossed
   out.  He has "been there before in April/94" presumably this refers to his
   Final Destination, San Francisco. 
2 He is going to join "my family."
