LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Australia, sailing from Honolulu, May 26, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, June 2, 1894.

Transcriber's Notes
There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not 
included in the table:
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco  
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes (except 9) 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no(except 7 & 8)
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 

1-4 In the Whether in Possession of Money colum $30 is written and the numbers 
     transcribed here are written above. 
6   age is recorded as 2 in the years column and 1/2 in the months column.  It 
     could mean 2 years and 1/2 month.
7-8 passage was paid by Haw Ex Co.  I believe this stands for Hawaiian Exhibition 
     Co.  They were under contract to labor in the U.S.
8   was in SF July 1894.
9   has no ticket to final destination.  He was in US 5 years ago.  He is going 
     to join Brother.
