LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not 
included in the table:
 Able to Read & Write=yes 
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco  
 By whom was passage paid?=self (except 7) 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no (except 7)
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 

7  passage was paid by JJSNC.  There is no indication what this stands for.  
   His occupation is Officer on Whaling Ship.  He left San Francisco last 
   November.  He is going on a whaling cruise.  Ever in Prison says "in San 
   Francisco for assault."
9  surname is Rose or Rosi.
10 is going to join one sister Mary Bomke West Berkley.  
11 has been to New York
13 has been to Cala 4 years ago.
14 has been in New York 3 years ago.
15 is going to the Japanese YMCA.
